They
were written in ink
You
don’t like the colour of,
They
were poetry
You
don’t want to read between lines,
They
were the quenched thirst
You
cannot throw up,
And
when they were gone
They
left behind an empty space
A
void, you can’t erase,
You
may forget them
But
you can’t erase them,
And
when,
You
would turn the pages of your life
They
would be a tiny memory, you can’t erase,
So
you eventually learn,
You
cannot erase the things you can’t change!
